Universal Entertainment Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, research, develops, manufactures, and sells pachislot and pachinko machines in Japan, and the Philippines. The company operates through two segments, Pachinko and Pachinko Machine Business, and Integrated Resort (IR) Business. It develops and provides Falcon X, a peripheral system; Hot Stadium, a digital signage system; Universal Kingdom, a members-only mobile website; and Slots Street, a social casino game for smartphones; as well as operates OKADA MANILA, a casino resort in the Philippines. In addition, it operates casinos, hotels, restaurants, retail and leasing, and entertainment, as well as develops real estate properties. The company was formerly known as Aruze Corp. and changed its name to Universal Entertainment Corporation in November 2009. The company was founded in 1969 and is headquartered in Koto, Japan.
