Royce Small-Cap Value Fund Service Class 

The Royce Small-Cap Value Fund primarily seeks investment opportunities in equity securities of smaller companies that its investment adviser believes are trading at a discount to their true value. Typically, at least 80% of the fund's total assets are dedicated to these small-capitalization stocks. While the portfolio generally concentrates on U.S.-based businesses, it has the flexibility to allocate up to 25% of its net assets (as measured when the investment is made) to companies headquartered in foreign countries.
