The fund's core aim is to deliver a total return that exceeds the performance of the S&P 500 Index. To achieve this, it typically commits at least 80% of its assets to a combination of: equity securities from companies whose market capitalizations are consistent with those in the index; investment vehicles designed to provide exposure to such companies; and equity-linked derivative instruments.
