Starhill Global Real Estate Investment Trust (SGLMF) is a Singapore-headquartered REIT that primarily invests in commercial real estate, specifically retail and office properties, across both Singapore and international markets. Launched on the Singapore Exchange (SGX-ST) Mainboard on September 20, 2005, the Trust has significantly broadened its asset base. It has grown from an initial portfolio comprising interests in two landmark properties on Singapore's Orchard Road to encompass ten diverse assets spread across Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, China, and Japan, now valued at approximately S$2.9 billion. Its current holdings include prominent properties such as Wisma Atria and Ngee Ann City along Singapore's Orchard Road; Myer Centre Adelaide, the David Jones Building, and Plaza Arcade located in Adelaide and Perth, Australia; The Starhill and Lot 10 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; a dedicated retail property in Chengdu, China; and two distinct properties situated in Tokyo, Japan. Looking ahead, Starhill Global REIT remains committed to sourcing attractive new property opportunities in Singapore and abroad. Simultaneously, it strives to unlock further value from its existing portfolio through diligent leasing efforts and innovative asset improvement projects. The Trust's operations are overseen by an external manager, YTL Starhill Global REIT Management Limited, whose shares are indirectly and fully held by YTL Corporation Berhad.
