SHZ aims to closely track the returns of the FTSE Emerging Sustainable Yield 150 10% Capped 100% Hedge CAD Index, or any succeeding benchmark, before management fees and operating expenses, and to the furthest extent practical. The fund achieves this by investing, either directly or indirectly, in a portfolio containing up to 150 equity instruments. These holdings represent publicly traded entities situated in nations categorized as emerging markets by FTSE, which are chosen for their comparatively strong and enduring dividend yields at the time of the portfolio's periodic rebalancing or reconstitution.
