Sky Petroleum, Inc. is an energy company focused on the acquisition, exploration, development, and production of oil and natural gas resources. The company typically engages with third-party property owners, financing the associated operational costs in return for a share of the revenue generated from the extracted hydrocarbons. Currently, Sky Petroleum holds a production sharing contract with Albania's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy, covering three exploration blocks: Four, Five, and Dumre, all situated within the Republic of Albania. Established in 2002, the company was initially incorporated as Seaside Explorations, Inc., adopting its current name, Sky Petroleum, Inc., in March 2005. Its corporate headquarters are located in Frisco, Texas.
