Tethys Petroleum Limited operates as an energy company, concentrating on the acquisition, exploration, and development of crude oil and natural gas resources within Kazakhstan. The company maintains a full 100% working interest in several key assets in the region, including the Kyzyloi production contract (449 sq km), the Akkulka exploration license and contract (827 sq km), the Akkulka production contract (396 sq km), and the expansive Kul-Bas exploration and production contract (7,632 sq km). Established in 2003, the entity was initially known as Tethys Petroleum Investments Limited before rebranding to Tethys Petroleum Limited in September 2006. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.
