The fund's primary objective is to achieve significant capital appreciation over the long term. It predominantly invests a minimum of 80% of its net assets (along with any capital acquired through borrowing for investment purposes) in the equity securities of medium-sized companies. The advisor specifically concentrates on U.S. mid-sized companies whose market capitalizations are comparable to those included in well-known benchmarks such as the Russell Midcap Index, the S&P MidCap 400 Index, or the mid-sized company definitions published by Lipper, Inc.
