The fund's main goal is to generate the highest possible total return while also carefully preserving capital and managing risks responsibly. It typically commits a minimum of 80% of its assets to corporate debt obligations, which may also be represented by other financial instruments like derivatives. Furthermore, the entire portfolio is generally invested in various debt instruments, such as traditional bonds, mortgage-backed securities, other asset-backed securities, cash, cash equivalents, and certain derivatives. These debt holdings must possess an investment-grade credit rating of at least Baa3 (Moody's) or BBB- (S&P) when acquired, or be judged by the investment adviser to be of comparable quality if unrated.
