The fund's core objective is to generate significant capital appreciation over the long term. It allocates a minimum of 80% of its total portfolio to equity investments, primarily common stocks, of companies engaged in the health sciences and related fields. This broad health sciences sector includes enterprises involved in healthcare equipment and supplies, healthcare providers and services, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals. Demonstrating a focused strategy, the fund will maintain a concentrated position, investing over 25% of its assets, in these health sciences or associated industries. Additionally, it possesses the flexibility to hold shares in companies located outside the United States.
