The primary objective of this fund is to achieve substantial capital appreciation over the long term. It accomplishes this by predominantly investing in the equity securities of businesses situated in developing nations. Ordinarily, a minimum of 80% of the fund's total assets, which includes any capital borrowed for investment, is allocated to these emerging market equities. While the fund retains the flexibility to invest in companies of any market capitalization, it endeavors to maintain a portfolio whose size characteristics align closely with those represented by the MSCI Emerging Markets Index.
