The Columbia Select Global Equity Fund Class A primarily invests in equity securities, allocating a minimum of 80% of its net assets (which includes any borrowed capital for investment) to stocks of companies situated in both established ('developed') and growing ('emerging') global markets. Furthermore, the fund typically commits at least 40% of its net assets to international corporations. These are specifically identified as companies that either conduct their main business activities or are headquartered outside the United States, have their shares listed on non-U.S. stock exchanges, or were incorporated under the laws of a non-U.S. nation.
