Commonwealth Japan Fund 

Under typical market conditions, the Commonwealth Japan Fund allocates a minimum of 80% of its net assets to financial instruments from Japanese issuers with significant economic ties to Japan, including securities and various depositary receipts (such as American Depositary Receipts, Global Depositary Receipts, and European Depositary Receipts – ADRs, GDRs, EDRs). The fund also has the flexibility to utilize derivative instruments. These may be employed for any purpose aligned with its investment goals, such as managing risk (hedging), acquiring market exposure, or generating additional income through premiums.
