This fund primarily seeks capital appreciation by investing in common stocks of companies located in Europe and the Pacific Basin. The investment adviser identifies these companies based on their perceived potential for substantial growth. Specifically, growth stocks are defined as equities anticipated by the adviser to achieve above-average capital appreciation. Customarily, a minimum of 80% of the fund's net assets will be dedicated to securities from issuers within these European and Pacific Basin regions. Furthermore, the fund retains the flexibility to allocate a segment of its assets to common shares and other financial instruments issued by enterprises in emerging markets.
