This fund aims to replicate the collective stock price appreciation and dividend income generated by the companies comprising the S&P 500® Index. To achieve this, it primarily invests a substantial portion (typically 80% or more) of its total assets directly into the common stocks found within the S&P 500®, mirroring their relative weightings. A lesser allocation may also be made to derivative instruments, such as exchange-listed options, futures, and swap agreements.
