Under typical market conditions, this fund commits a minimum of 80% of its overall assets (including any borrowed capital for investment purposes) to companies primarily involved in the gold sector, situated within Europe and the Pacific Rim. The fund's advisor defines these "gold companies" as equity-holding entities that derive at least half of their gross income or profit from activities such as gold mining, refining, trading, or direct investment. This also encompasses businesses whose main pursuit is exploring for gold or those that supply essential services to the gold industry. Furthermore, up to 15% of the fund's net assets may be invested in private placements and other restricted securities.
