The fund's core objective is to achieve consistently strong overall returns by investing in a widely diversified collection of stocks, with a risk profile designed to be comparable to the S&P 500 Index. A substantial portion of its capital, specifically at least 80% of its net assets augmented by any funds obtained through borrowing, is dedicated to investment purposes. The portfolio primarily consists of common shares from U.S. companies that are components of the S&P 500 Index, encompassing both large-capitalization and mid-capitalization enterprises. Nevertheless, the fund retains the flexibility to allocate capital to securities not explicitly listed within the S&P 500 Index.
