This fund commits a minimum of 80% of its portfolio to fixed-income securities. Under typical market circumstances, at least 70% of its total holdings will consist of debt instruments categorized as investment grade at the point of acquisition. Conversely, the fund's allocation to below-investment-grade securities, including unrated equivalents and lower-rated international bonds, will not surpass 30% of its total assets during normal operations. The portfolio typically maintains an average weighted maturity ranging from five to twenty years.
