The fund's investment strategy primarily involves holding a diverse range of short-duration fixed-income securities. A significant portion—at least 65% of its net assets—is specifically allocated to investment-grade debt instruments. These include corporate bonds from U.S. issuers; U.S. dollar-denominated corporate debt from non-U.S. (including emerging market) entities; securities backed by mortgages, other assets, or related instruments; obligations issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government, its agencies, and instrumentalities; and investments designed to provide inflation protection.
