The fund's main goal is to generate considerable growth in value for its investors over an extended period. Typically, it dedicates its portfolio primarily to a wide variety of common stocks, without any constraints on the size of the companies by market capitalization. Furthermore, the fund has the flexibility to commit an unlimited amount to companies based outside the U.S., either by acquiring their shares directly or through American Depositary Receipts (ADRs). On occasion, a significant percentage of its assets may be channeled into businesses within particular economic segments, including but not limited to technology, industrial, healthcare, and life sciences.
