Vulcan Minerals Inc. is a mineral exploration firm dedicated to identifying, evaluating, and developing mineral prospects throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. The company primarily seeks deposits of copper, gold, nickel, cobalt, salt, and gypsum. Its current holdings include an interest in the Colchester copper-gold project, situated in north-central Newfoundland, and the Red Cross Lake project, prospective for nickel, copper, cobalt, and gold in central Newfoundland. Vulcan Minerals also maintains complete ownership (100% interest) of mineral licenses spanning a portion of the Bay St. George Basin in Western Newfoundland, as well as the Villa Marie quartzite project, located just west of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The company was founded in 1995 and is based in St. John's, Canada.
