Typically, the fund commits a substantial portion—at least 80% of its total net assets, including any funds acquired through borrowing—to equity investments in Chinese companies. The investment manager employs a broad definition for what constitutes a "Chinese company," encompassing entities that are legally incorporated or primarily headquartered in China, or whose shares are predominantly traded on Chinese exchanges. Furthermore, a company also qualifies if it generates a minimum of 50% of its income or net earnings from China, or if at least half of its assets or production capabilities are situated within the country. This fund operates as a non-diversified portfolio.
