It is co-managed by BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. It invests in public equity markets of the United States. The fund invests directly and through other funds in stocks of companies operating across materials sectors. The fund invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. The fund seeks to track the performance of the S&P/TSX Global Base Metals Index, by using full replication technique. iShares S&P/TSX Energy Transition Materials Index ETF was formed on September 6, 2023 and is domiciled in Canada.
