This ETF aims to mirror the performance of the FTSE US Treasury Short Duration Index, which comprises US dollar-denominated debt instruments issued by the United States government. The index focuses on short-term maturities, specifically including fixed-rate bonds with remaining terms of one month to one year, and floating-rate bonds maturing between one month and three years. To be eligible, bonds must have a minimum outstanding principal amount of USD 5 billion, excluding any holdings by the Federal Reserve. The index incorporates both fixed-rate and floating-rate US Treasury securities, as well as Treasury bills. Conversely, it explicitly excludes Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS), Strips, callable Treasuries, and bonds that had an original maturity of ten years or more at issuance. Comprehensive information on the index and its methodology, particularly concerning FTSE fixed income indices, can be accessed on the index administrator's website: (https://www.yieldbook.com/m/indices/search.shtml).
