Zijin Mining Group Company Limited, encompassing its various subsidiaries, primarily conducts operations within mainland China, concentrating on the discovery, evaluation, and extraction of diverse mineral deposits. The company's extensive production portfolio features substantial amounts of gold bullion and a wide range of ore concentrates, including those for gold, copper, zinc, tungsten, lead, and iron. Additionally, Zijin Mining manufactures copper cathodes, zinc bullion, sulfuric acid, copperplate, silver, and iron, along with specialized metals such as molybdenum, cobalt, tin, platinum, and palladium, and also coal. Founded in 1986, the enterprise initially operated as Fujian Zijin Mining Industry Company Limited before adopting its current designation in June 2004.
