But the taxation, at least in Italy, is calculated very high on the net dividend, so in the end with 900 shares I'm left with 63.28 USD per month. Plus, since I've owned it since 2022, I've collected about 3.5k USD in dividends so far and lost 4k USD in the stock's value. Also, today Fineco won't let me buy it anymore, so I can't average down, which is something that should be done regularly during dips like this for this kind of stock. For example, in this period, so all that glitters is not gold!

Oh boy, losing 4k in value while gaining 3.5k in dividends is a pretty modest deal. I'm not even buying Italian stocks anymore (Enel), because half of the dividend yield goes toward taxes in Italy + Germany. Tax reclamation is pointless in IT. It's just a high-tax country, even more so than DE, but at least the weather is better 👍
yeah the taxation takes some of the dividends. I lose about £17 monthly to my dividend tax too at 1221 shares
