This fund typically allocates at least 80% of its total net assets to a diverse range of debt instruments denominated in U.S. dollars. These investments encompass obligations issued by the U.S. government and various public-sector entities, asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities from both U.S. and international sources, and corporate bonds originating from American and foreign companies. While the portfolio primarily focuses on investment-grade debt, it retains the flexibility to invest up to 20% of its net assets in lower-rated, non-investment grade securities, often termed "high yield" or "junk" bonds.
