Code Rebel Corporation operated as a firm specializing in both software development and information technology (IT) services, divided into two primary business units: Software and IT Services. The Software division was dedicated to the creation, promotion, and licensing of its flagship product, iRAPP – an interactive remote application terminal services solution. iRAPP's core functionality enabled users of personal computers to access and run applications concurrently on a single Mac remote desktop, either through iRAPP's proprietary client or any standard compliant remote desktop protocol client. Its product portfolio included client-side applications for Mac OS X and Windows; various iRAPP terminal server options, such as iRAPP-single-user remote desktop and iRAPP-TS for multiple-user Mac OS X applications; and iRAPP access enhancements like the iRAPP Load Balancer and iRAPP Gateway. The IT Services segment concentrated on supporting Independent Software Vendor (ISV) relationships and channel partner platforms. This support encompassed providing project management, application and technical consulting, and database administration for implementing new projects and managing ongoing service engagements. Additionally, this segment offered professional services consulting for the deployment, upgrading, and maintenance of software packages that these ISVs supplied to their own clients. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Kahului, Hawaii, Code Rebel Corporation ultimately filed for a voluntary Chapter 7 liquidation on May 18, 2016, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
