Established in Kolkata, India, in 1919, India Power Corporation Limited, alongside its affiliated entities, is engaged in the production and provision of electrical energy across India. The company, which was rebranded from DPSC Limited in August 2013, oversees a diverse portfolio of generation facilities. These include 35.2 MW from wind parks in Gujarat and Karnataka, a 2 MW solar array in West Bengal, and a 12 MW coal-fired thermal power station situated in Asansol, West Bengal. Additionally, it holds the permit to distribute electricity across an area of approximately 618 square kilometers within West Bengal's Asansol–Ranigunj region. Its extensive customer base serves a range of sectors, including government organizations, hospitals, industries, mining operations, and both business and residential users.
