The First Trust Dorsey Wright Momentum & Value ETF (the Fund) endeavors to achieve investment results that generally align with the price movements and income stream (prior to the Fund's own fees and expenses) of its underlying benchmark, the Dorsey Wright Momentum Plus Value Index. Typically, the Fund allocates at least 90% of its total net assets, including any capital acquired through borrowing, to the equity securities that constitute this Index. Employing an indexing approach, the Fund's objective is to replicate the Index's performance before any charges or expenses are deducted. The investment advisor strives for a high degree of congruence, targeting a correlation coefficient of 0.95 or better (before fees and expenses) between the Fund's outcomes and those of the Index, noting that a figure of 1.00 would denote perfect alignment.
