First Real Estate Investment Trust 

First Real Estate Investment Trust, or First REIT, was formally established on October 19, 2006, through a Trust Deed. Its inception involved First REIT Management Limited (then known as Bowsprit Capital Corporation Limited) serving as the Manager, and HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Singapore) Limited as the initial Trustee. The trust commenced trading on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited on December 11, 2006. On March 1, 2018, the trusteeship transitioned from HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Singapore) Limited to Perpetual (Asia) Limited. As Singapore's pioneering healthcare real estate investment trust, First REIT's primary objective is to acquire and maintain a diverse portfolio of revenue-generating properties and related assets across Asia. These assets are predominantly utilized for healthcare or associated purposes. First REIT Management Limited oversees the trust's operations and asset management. The trust's current holdings comprise 20 properties situated in Indonesia, Singapore, and South Korea. This extensive portfolio includes numerous Siloam Hospitals, the Imperial Aryaduta Hotel & Country Club, the Mochtar Riady Comprehensive Cancer Centre, various nursing homes, and other commercial and residential healthcare-linked facilities. Operational management for these assets varies by region. In Indonesia, PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk, a division of the prominent PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk, manages the hospital properties. The Aryaduta Hotel and Resort Group handles the Imperial Aryaduta Hotel & Country Club and Hotel Aryaduta Manado, while PT Lippo Malls Indonesia is responsible for Lippo Plaza Kupang and Lippo Plaza Buton. For the Singaporean properties, Pacific Healthcare Nursing Home Pte. Ltd. and Pacific Eldercare and Nursing Pte. Ltd. operate the nursing homes at Bukit Merah and Bukit Panjang, respectively. The Lentor Residence is run by The Lentor Residence Pte. Ltd. In South Korea, Sarang Hospital is managed by an independent medical practitioner. First REIT offers investors a strategic entry point into Asia's expanding healthcare sector, which is experiencing growth propelled by increasing life expectancies in countries such as Indonesia and across Southeast Asia.
