The Fund’s investment objective is to achieve a total return over the medium term, which should be considered as a period of 3-5 years, by predominantly investing in sterling-denominated corporate bonds, which will primarily be short-duration (5 years or less). Investments in the Fund will adhere to the Investment Manager’s ethical and sustainable investment policy. At least 80% of the Fund will be invested in investment grade corporate bonds denominated in sterling or hedged back to sterling, of which at least 70% will have a duration of less than five years. Index linked bonds, securitisations, supranational bonds, agency bonds, floating-rate notes, and asset-backed securities, denominated in sterling, or hedged back to sterling, are also included in this segment of the Fund. The maximum average duration of the corporate bonds in the Fund’s portfolio will be 5 years.
