Global Environmental Energy Corp. (GEECF) concentrates its efforts on various sustainable energy initiatives, including the development of alternative power sources, environmentally sound infrastructure, small-scale electricity generation (micro-power), and the creation of liquid fuels. A significant area of the company's work involves the innovation and market introduction of technologies designed to convert waste materials into energy, specifically producing electrical power and liquid fuels. Their flagship product is the Biosphere Process System, an advanced waste-to-energy solution. This system is engineered to process a wide array of discarded materials, such as municipal solid waste, agricultural or forestry surplus, industrial or medical waste, and even traditional fossil fuels. The process is multi-faceted, beginning with the automated separation of metals and plastics, followed by the formation of organic compost. The remaining organic matter is then subjected to intense heat within a sealed chamber that lacks oxygen. GEECF actively markets and deploys its Biosphere Systems throughout Asia, Europe, the Americas, and specifically the Philippines. The company, headquartered in Nassau, Bahamas, was previously known as Life Energy & Technology Holdings, Inc., adopting its current name in September 2004. Of note in its history, Global Environmental Energy Corp. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on May 19, 2005, which was subsequently converted to a Chapter 7 liquidation on June 5, 2007.
