Guangdong Investment Limited operates as an investment holding company with a broad portfolio of business interests. Through its Hotel Operation and Management segment, the company both runs its own hotels and provides management services to external clients throughout Hong Kong and Mainland China. By December 31, 2021, this division oversaw a collection of 27 hotels, comprising 3 in Hong Kong, 1 in Macau, and 23 in Mainland China. The Road and Bridge segment focuses on investing in various road and bridge projects, engaging in toll road operations and general road management within Mainland China. Finally, the Others segment offers treasury services in Hong Kong and Mainland China, alongside various corporate and auxiliary services. The company, originally incorporated in 1973 as Union Globe Development Limited, adopted its current name, Guangdong Investment Limited, in January 1987. It is headquartered in Central, Hong Kong, and operates as a subsidiary of GDH Limited.
