Beyond the automotive industry, Gentex also provides variable dimmable windows for the aerospace sector, specifically for use by aircraft manufacturers and airline operators. Furthermore, the company is a significant provider of fire protection solutions. Its offerings include photoelectric smoke detectors and alarms, electrochemical carbon monoxide alarms and detectors, and an array of audible and visual signaling devices such as bells and speakers.
