This fund primarily concentrates its investments in equity holdings, specifically common and preferred shares, issued by companies with smaller market capitalizations. Under typical market conditions, a substantial portion—at least 80% of its net assets, supplemented by any borrowed capital for investment—is committed to securities from these small-cap enterprises. The advisor defines small-capitalization companies as those whose market value falls within the spectrum of the Russell 2000® Index.
