The fund's main goal is to achieve significant long-term growth through the appreciation of its capital, while generating income is a secondary objective. According to its defined investment policy, under typical circumstances, the fund commits to allocating at least 80% of its total assets (calculated as its net assets combined with any borrowed funds used for investment) to stocks – including both common and preferred shares – of companies predominantly engaged in the banking or financial services industries. This allocation also extends to collective investment vehicles that themselves invest in businesses primarily operating within these financial sectors.
