The investment objective of the Fund is to achieve long-term capital appreciation through investment, both direct and indirect, in a diversified portfolio of emerging market equity securities. The investment policy of the Fund is to invest in a portfolio of equity securities of companies either listed or domiciled or exercising the majority of their economic activities in Emerging Markets around the world. The Investment Manager believes that in Emerging Markets, macroeconomic developments (normally at the country level), are key drivers of investment performance. In addition, the Investment Manager believes that the growth opportunity is at the heart of the Emerging Market investment story and that attractive valuations are an important driver of the success of investing in Emerging Markets.
