The fund's objective is to achieve a high overall return through a diversified collection of stock investments. Typically, the portfolio will allocate a minimum of 80% of its assets—which encompass both its net value and any borrowed capital used for investments—to equity securities issued by U.S.-based companies. Its core strategy centers on acquiring common shares of American businesses with large or medium market capitalizations. Nevertheless, the fund maintains the option to commit up to 20% of its total assets to common stocks of international firms, including securities like depositary receipts.
