Beyond these core areas, Kunlun Energy also manages the processing, unloading, storage, gasification, and transportation of LNG. Furthermore, it engages in the trading, distribution, and retail of a diverse range of natural gas products, alongside the wholesale and retail of various LPG offerings. The company maintains operations across multiple international locations, including the People's Republic of China, Kazakhstan, Oman, Peru, Thailand, and Azerbaijan. Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Hong Kong, the company was previously called CNPC (Hong Kong) Limited before adopting its current name, Kunlun Energy Company Limited, in March 2010. It operates as a subsidiary of PetroChina Hong Kong Limited.
