The Purpose Multi-Asset Income Fund seeks global investment opportunities focused on income-generating assets. Its actively managed portfolio can invest across a wide range of income-producing asset classes. These may include common and preferred equities, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), convertible securities, a spectrum of fixed-income instruments from investment-grade to high-yield, floating-rate debt, and asset-backed or mortgage-backed securities. When selecting equity and fixed-income holdings, the portfolio manager emphasizes identifying value-oriented companies underpinned by robust fundamental factors. Key considerations for selection involve sustained return on equity (ROE), balance sheet strength, earnings forecasts, dividend-paying capability, management quality, specific security features, the security's current price relative to its estimated long-term value, and its credit standing. Furthermore, the fund has the flexibility to utilize derivatives such as options, forwards, futures, and swaps.
