The fund's primary objective is to achieve substantial long-term growth of capital alongside generating income. Typically, under standard market conditions, it commits a minimum of 80% of its net assets (which may include funds acquired through borrowing) to equity securities. These investments specifically target small-capitalization, value-oriented companies located in international markets. The appointed sub-adviser strategically identifies a focused collection of 50 to 100 such foreign small-cap value stocks. These are selected because the sub-adviser believes they are currently undervalued by the market but offer significant potential for their prices to increase, ultimately reflecting their true long-term intrinsic value and/or anticipated future cash flows.
