Since its listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in December 2002, Resilient has operated as a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). Its primary portfolio features prominent regional malls and shopping centers, largely leased by well-known national retailers. The company consistently pursues the development of new retail locations, focusing on both high standards of quality and improved investment returns. Rigorous standards guide the evaluation of prospective investments, requiring the presence of at least three national anchor tenants and ensuring that major national retail entities occupy over 70% of the rentable area. Beyond its core retail properties, Resilient also holds a diverse array of listed and international property-related assets. Asset management is handled in-house, while property management functions are outsourced to independent third-party firms.
