Stonepath Group Inc. was a specialist in third-party logistics (3PL), delivering comprehensive transportation and logistics solutions across the globe. The company crafted tailored supply chain strategies for a broad spectrum of clients, encompassing manufacturers, distributors, and major retail chains. Key offerings comprised international air and ocean freight forwarding, sophisticated distribution networks, expert customs brokerage, and strategic consulting. They also provided end-to-end shipment visibility and bespoke management solutions. Stonepath Group facilitated the seamless flow of raw materials, vital components, and finished products for its clientele, both domestically within North America and internationally. Additionally, it maintained warehousing and distribution capabilities across North America, coupled with customs clearance and secure bonded warehousing services in its international operational zones. Further expanding its portfolio, Stonepath delivered contract logistics, intricate global project oversight, efficient order fulfillment, and precise inventory management. By March 31, 2006, Stonepath boasted an extensive operational footprint, featuring offices in 21 significant North American urban centers, 17 sites in the Asia Pacific region, three in Brazil, and one in Europe. This was further bolstered by a global web of independent agents and strategic service collaborators. Established in 1998 in Seattle, Washington, the entity initially operated as Net Value Holdings before rebranding to Stonepath Group Inc. in October 2000. However, its operations were disrupted on May 8, 2007, when an involuntary Chapter 7 liquidation petition was lodged against it by Spherion Corporation, Custom Transfer Incorporated, and Overbye Transport Incorporated in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
