Under typical market conditions, this fund primarily allocates its capital – at least 80% of its total net assets, including any borrowed funds for investment purposes – to various types of fixed-income securities. The term "bond" broadly encompasses any debt or income-generating instruments. The portfolio maintains the flexibility to invest up to 30% in higher-risk debt, known in the market as "junk bonds" or "high-yield securities" due to their sub-investment grade rating. Furthermore, a small portion, specifically up to 10% of its assets, may be directed towards instruments not denominated in U.S. dollars, such as international government and corporate bonds.
