The fund primarily commits a minimum of 80% of its net assets, plus any leveraged capital, to equity securities issued by companies situated in evolving capital market countries. These nations are commonly found in regions such as Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and Africa. For classification purposes, "developing capital markets" broadly includes, but is not confined to, all the countries listed in the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. Typically, the portfolio maintains investments in no fewer than three distinct countries simultaneously.
