The primary goal of this fund is to achieve substantial capital appreciation over an extended period. Typically, a minimum of 80% of its portfolio is dedicated to securities issued by companies based in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and mainland China, or other investments with strong economic connections to the broader China region. Its holdings are predominantly composed of common stocks. The fund strategically distributes its investments among various countries within this specified geographic area. A maximum of 35% of the total assets may be allocated to a single industry, provided that industry accounts for over one-fifth of the combined Hong Kong, Taiwanese, and Chinese market. Investment decisions are guided by comprehensive fundamental analysis, evaluating factors such as an issuer's financial health, its competitive position within its sector, and prevailing market and economic circumstances.
