The Hartford Dividend and Growth Fund Class Y 

The Hartford Dividend and Growth Fund Class Y aims to achieve a substantial level of current income, coupled with the objective of long-term capital appreciation. Its primary investment strategy involves allocating assets to equity securities (stocks) that typically offer generous dividend yields and which the sub-adviser believes possess strong prospects for increasing in value over time. Under normal market conditions, a minimum of 80% of the fund's net assets are committed to these dividend-distributing equities. The fund also retains the flexibility to invest up to 20% of its net assets in holdings from foreign issuers or those denominated in non-U.S. dollar currencies.
