The fund's core objective is pursued by dedicating a minimum of 80% of its total assets (including any leveraged capital) to businesses that portfolio managers believe are poised for substantial gains from technological innovation or advancements. This is primarily accomplished through investments in equity securities of companies, both within the U.S. and internationally, that are selected for their strong growth potential. Additionally, the fund typically allocates at least 40% of its net assets to securities of entities with economic connections to various countries worldwide, specifically excluding the United States.
