This fund primarily aims to achieve its investment objectives by dedicating at least 80% of its investable assets (comprising net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes) to fixed-income securities. The portfolio's sensitivity to interest rate fluctuations, known as its average duration, is managed within a flexible range, potentially extending from negative two years to a maximum of four years. Furthermore, the fund has the discretion to utilize derivative instruments. These are sophisticated financial tools whose value is derived from, or directly linked to, an underlying asset, such as equity securities, fixed-income securities, commodities, currencies, interest rates, or broad market indices.
